Preheat the Oven 400°F (200°C) is the sweet spot. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
Set Up the Rack (Optional but ideal) Place a wire rack on the baking sheet. This helps fat drip away, resulting in extra crispy bacon.
Lay Out the Strips Arrange bacon in a single layer with a bit of space between each strip—no overlapping!
Bake 15–20 minutes, depending on your bacon’s thickness and your preferred crisp level. Pro tip: Start checking at 15 minutes—crispy can turn to burnt real quick!
Drain & Serve Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease. Serve hot!
