Wood glue
Sandpaper
Optional: paint or wood stain
Directions
Begin by sanding down any rough edges on the wooden frames to ensure they are smooth to the touch.
If desired, paint or stain the frames to match your decor style. Allow them to dry completely.
Arrange the four frames to form a square or rectangular shape, ensuring that each frame meets at the corners.
Use wood glue to secure the corners where the frames meet. Allow the glue to dry as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Once the glue is dry, reinforce each corner by wrapping jute twine or strong string around them several times, creating a decorative knot. This adds both stability and decorative flair.
Trim any excess twine or string, ensuring a neat appearance.

Variations & Tips
To customize this DIY, consider using frames of different sizes to create a more dynamic shape. You can also experiment with different materials for the corner ties, such as leather strips or colorful ribbons, to match your personal style. For a more modern look, spray paint the entire structure in a metallic finish. Additionally, adding small hooks or clips inside the frame can transform it into a display for photos or small mementos.
