It may happen that you find yourself at home with a pile of old cloth napkins that you no longer use: perhaps they have discolored, torn or have been replaced with new, more recent ones.
However, this does not mean that they should be thrown away. On the contrary, with a little creativity they can come in handy by recycling them and giving them new life.
Let's see some ideas and how to do it.
1. Embroidery: If the napkins have embroidery or decorations, you can cut them out and use them to decorate other home accessories or décor items.
2. Patches: napkin fabric can come in handy in case of damaged tablecloths or placemats, applying them as patches.
3. Table: if you want accessories to set the table and make it more welcoming, you can create placemats or runners by sewing several napkins next to each other.
4. Scented bags: to perfume wardrobes and drawers, you know, you need bags in which to put lavender or other perfumers. These can be easily made from old napkins, with a little skill with needle and thread.
5. Bookmarks: simply cut rectangular strips of fabric, and apply them on traced cardboard to make them rigid. This way you will have a unique bookmark.
